We're Back!!

After spending 10 days in Ohio visiting family, I was so happy to be home. I am SO done with traveling for a while. It was fun and all, but I function much better when I have my daily routines and schedules in place. All 3 boys were little angels on both flights! So many people (even men!) were commenting on how good my boys were. That always makes a momma proud!

We stayed with Christie and her fam and did a lot of fun things with them. The following weekend, my dad, Debbie, Ashlie, Marcus, Kathy, and their 3 kids drove up from Nauvoo, IL to see us. It was fun to see all of them, especially Craig, Lani, and Maya! We hadn't seen them for about a year and a half and they're so grown up!! I didn't realize I hadn't taken any pictures of those guys until it was too late.BUMMER!

We got home just in time for Luke to start Kindergarten, which he is loving! Ty will also be starting preschool the end of next month....going twice a week. Hooray!

Fun In Ohio

Ashlie and Jake. We're excited that Ash is moving back to AZ in a couple of months! The boys will LOVE having her live close by, and so will I.

Christie, Me, Jake, and Dad

The boys loved it when Kathy would read stories to them at bedtime.

Jake and Abby

Here's Luke with Debbie and Papa. He was constantly concerned about where his Papa was. You could usually find Luke parked by the two of them, getting his back tickled by Debbie.

Jake and Andrew

Luke and Ty watching a movie with Uncle Mike...

King's Island

On the way home from King's Island...totally worn out!

While Christie kept Ty and Jake home with her, Luke, Andrew, Abby, Mike, and I spent several hours at King's Island. It is a huge amusement park/water park, and it was fun spending that time with Luke and taking him on his first roller coaster! That was, by far, his favorite ride and we rode it 3 times, I think. He and I would squeal and giggle the whole ride. What a fun day!

Diego's jeep. This boy LOVES to drive!

Bumper cars was what Luke wanted to do first! We had looked at their website and he had his mind made up that he was doing that before anything else. He did an awesome job manuevering his car around all the other "traffic jams".

Here's Luke have a great time on the Backyardigans swing!

Newport Aquarium

Can you see us in the bubble below the shark? This is an incredible aquarium located in Newport, Kentucky. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Shark Alley was awesome! The walk way goes straight through the aquarium,
and we were completely surrounded by sharks, sting rays, shark rays, and tons of
huge fish!

Take a look at those TEETH!

Luke sitting inside the mouth of a shark. One gulp and he'd be a gonner.

9 and a half Months!

Jake is all over the place! He's not only scooting, but is now pulling himself up to anything and everything! He's climbing on stuff, too, and has tumbled a few times.
So far, Jake has 4 teeth, but there are about 4 more that are about to pop through! He seems to be growing up so much faster than our first two boys. NOT FAIR.
Jake loves to play with his brothers and the cat and is very amused by them. He is becomming one rough and tough little boy! He crashes and burns, but keeps on going! We love you baby!

Big Kindergartener!

Luke started Kindergarten on July 24th! He goes all day and we are ALL loving it. I do miss him during the day, but I am having a great time with Ty and Jake. Luke will be riding the bus as soon as they get him on the route, and is very much looking forward to that! He has such a fun time at school and LOVES to learn. We are so proud of him and how well he has adapted. We love you, Luke.

Ty at 3 Years Old

This is a perfect shot of the strange thing he does while sucking his finger! He pinches the skin on his other arm as he's sucking. Strange kid!!

Ty has been such a happy kid since his big brother started ALL DAY kingergarten. He is obviously enjoying the time he gets to spend with me during the day and I am, too! We've done some fun things together...a date to the movies, the library, etc. It really has been fun spending so much time with my Ty and I am thrilled beyond words that he is smiling and laughing more...and throwing tantrums LESS!! We love you, Ty.
