Jake's Surgery

Jake's tonsills and adenoids were removed and, boy, did it make a difference! Because of his enlarged tonsills, Jake was experiencing sleep apnea and would almost always end up in bed with us at night. It was so hard for me to sleep when I could hear his little body stop breathing so many times during the night. He was a trooper getting prepped for surgery and was acting so silly after they gave him some meds to relax him. His recovery went great and he had no problems at all. We were so relieved to get rid of that apnea....so scary! The surgeon said Jake's adenoids were almost as big as his tonsills and he was glad that they went ahead and removed those too. Jake had never had strip throat or any time of re-current infections, which is a little odd. The sleep apnea and snoring were pretty much his only symptoms, and, thank goodness, they are gone now!

Fun Times in May

Pictures from some fun events in May. The best part was welcoming a new nephew/cousin into the Holbrook family! The boys and I couldn't get enough of that sweet baby.

4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July with all of the family at Grandma and Grandpa Holbrook's townhouse in Sandy.

Ty Turns SIX!!

Ty had a fun 6th birthday up in Utah! He was able to have his UT cousins there to celebrate, as well as Aunt Alayna, and Grandma & Grandpa Holbrook. He was so excited to get so many fun presents and to also go to the store to pick out more presents with his bday money. Ty is always making us laugh and we love him so much!
