Christmas Day 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas!
Santa hooked Ty up with an easel...

Luke got a bunch of Kung Zhu stuff and a Beyblade...

Jake got a train set...

The boys got the thing that they have been talking about for MONTHS
(thanks to Gma & Gpa Holbrook)...Pillow Pets!

Ty with his new BB gun...

The aftermath!

Daddy built this awesome table for the train and also for Lego's!

We are so grateful for the generosity of others, especially our families. Christmas morning was filled with the opening of presents, breakfast burritos with Gma & Gpa Holbrook, Aunt Alayna, Ashlie, & Joe (Ashlie's boyfriend), and playing ball outside with their new "T", bats, and gloves (thanks to Papa & Gma Debbie). We feel so blessed and are excited and hopeful for the new year to come.

Jake had his preschool Christmas party yesterday!
He was so cute and did a great job singing.
They did a gift exchange also and all of the kids had so much fun with that.

Seeing Santa

We had pancake breakfast at the church yesterday morning. The food was great and someone in a red suit came for a visit!

Luke on Santa's lap telling him he really wants an ATV, but that he knows it's not going to happen! We had to almost force Luke to go talk to Santa (since he knows "the truth" he did not want to go)...but he went along with it so his little brothers wouldn't start asking questions!

Ty told Santa "he forgot" what he wants for Christmas!

Jake was too scared to even come close to Santa. So he found a seat behind the podium and watched everyone else.

Luke's 9th Birthday

Luke turned 9 on December 4th and he got to invite a few friends over for "Spy Training". We went with a Spy theme and had a lot of fun with that. Boys are so easy to entertain!

The most handsome 9 year-old ever!

Opening gifts from Gma & Gpa Holbrook

All 9 of the "Special Agents"

Target practice with Nerf guns, of course! The winner got an extra cupcake (I told you boys were easy!). We also did a scavenger hunt, but ran out of time to play Capture the Flag. The boys all seemed to have a great time!

More target practice

The burglar who was the "moving target"

This burglar was fast and the boys had a hard time getting him!

And then there were two burglars!

The birthday boy and I. We LOVE you, Luke, and are so proud of you!!

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving at the cabin again. It was super cold and even snowed a little while we were there. The boys had fun doing a turkey craft with Aunt Alayna, as well as the tradition of decorating the gingerbread house.

Their favorite pasttime at the cabin is always riding the ATV's!

Snow!

We cut down a little cedar tree to take home and decorate. It was a fun family activity, one that we might make a yearly tradition!
