School Pictures Sept 2010

I came across these school pictures when I was sifting through some boxes the other day. Better late than never!

Seeing Santa

We had pancake breakfast at the church yesterday morning. The food was great and someone in a red suit came for a visit!

Luke on Santa's lap telling him he really wants an ATV, but that he knows it's not going to happen! We had to almost force Luke to go talk to Santa (since he knows "the truth" he did not want to go)...but he went along with it so his little brothers wouldn't start asking questions!

Ty told Santa "he forgot" what he wants for Christmas!

Jake was too scared to even come close to Santa. So he found a seat behind the podium and watched everyone else.

Luke's 9th Birthday

Luke turned 9 on December 4th and he got to invite a few friends over for "Spy Training". We went with a Spy theme and had a lot of fun with that. Boys are so easy to entertain!

The most handsome 9 year-old ever!

All 9 of the "Special Agents"

Target practice with Nerf guns, of course! The winner got an extra cupcake (I told you boys were easy!). We also did a scavenger hunt, but ran out of time to play Capture the Flag. The boys all seemed to have a great time!

More target practice

The burglar who was the "moving target"

This burglar was fast and the boys had a hard time getting him!

And then there were two burglars!

The birthday boy and I. We LOVE you, Luke, and are so proud of you!!

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving at the cabin again. It was super cold and even snowed a little while we were there. The boys had fun doing a turkey craft with Aunt Alayna, as well as the tradition of decorating the gingerbread house.

Their favorite pasttime at the cabin is always riding the ATV's!

Snow!

We cut down a little cedar tree to take home and decorate. It was a fun family activity, one that we might make a yearly tradition!

Cub Scouts

Luke and his friend racing to see who can eat the whipping cream out of the pie pan the fastest. I guess this is something they do for boys who are earning certain badges.

So proud of our boy!

Luke (holding his awarded Wolf Badge) beside his 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Hoppal. We invited Mr. Hoppal to Luke's ceremony and were so happy that he took the time to come. It meant so much to Luke.

I thought I'd throw these pictures of Luke in. This was his first time mowing all by himself! He was SOOO excited and kept pestering me for days after because he thought the lawn needed to be trimmed more.

Such a hard worker.

We had a ward pot luck dinner, a fun parade, and an even funner Trunk-or-Treat with our amazing Ward family! Good times.
