A Visit From Family

My brother Marcus and his family made the long drive from Missouri to come to Luke's baptism in Dec. We were so happy to have them here for a few days! Maya, Craig, and Lani had never been to AZ before and I am glad they were finally able to come see us. Marcus and Kathy were out here 3 years ago when Jake was blessed. It's always good to have family around and I wish we could see each other more often.

Gingerbread Houses With Ty!

In December, I got to go to the school and help Ty make his gingerbread house! We had a lot of fun! Ty is so creative and artistic...it's fun to watch him create things.

A New Cub Scout!!

Luke is LOVING scouts!

During Christmas break, he was able to attend a 3-day cub scout Day camp and had a lot of fun there.

Luke's Baptism

On December 19th, Luke was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by his dad!

We were happy that so many of our friends and family were able to come and share Luke's special day with us! Grandpa Holbrook gave the talk on Baptism, Uncle Marcus and cousin Maya played a musical number, and Grandma Holbrook gave the prayer. We are grateful to those who participated in the program and to those who came to the baptism.

Luke Turns 8!!!

Our handsome little man turned 8 on December 4th!!

Luke is such a joy to have in our family and we love him so much! He is a very smart boy and does very well in school. He is above grade level in most subjects and is always good at following the rules at school. He is a big helper at home, too, especially with his little brothers. Luke likes to spend his free time jumping on the trampoline, playing w/Matchbox cars, Lego's, and the Wii. He is also a Cub Scout now, and is having a lot of fun going to scouts every Wednesday. He also has been taking piano lessons for a few months now and is catching on really well. He loves music and enjoys making up his own songs on the piano :)

tRiCk Or TrEaT

Our ward had chili and hot dogs at the park before it was trick-or-treating time. The boys had fun running around in the spacious grass field with all of the other kids. We then walked around the neighborhood with our friends the Denham's. Cole, TJ, and little Dane all looked so cute in their costumes, too!

Best Friends

Luke and Ty are inseperable. They do everything together! They are such good buddies and I hope it continues throughout their lives. They love to have sleep overs and sleep together in Luke's bed, or on the floor in their sleeping bags.
